What causes period pain?
Period pain, or menstrual cramps, is caused by the uterus contracting to shed its lining during your period. These contractions are triggered by hormone-like chemicals called prostaglandins — higher levels can lead to more intense cramping.
What is a TENS Machine?
A TENS machine (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a portable, drug-free device that uses mild electrical pulses to block pain signals and relax muscles.
How does TENS help relieve period pain?
TENS machines relieve period pain by sending gentle electrical pulses that block pain signals and stimulate endorphin release. This helps relax muscles and reduce cramping — offering safe, drug-free relief on the lower abdomen or lower back.

Where should I put TENS pads for period pain?

To relieve period pain with a TENS Machine, place the pads as follows:
Lower Abdomen: Place one pad on each side of your lower abdomen, about 2-3 inches below your belly button.
Lower Back: Place the pads on your lower back, just above your hips, for additional relief.
For best results, keep the pads in place for 20-30 minutes, adjusting the intensity to your comfort. Always follow our device’s instructions and consult a healthcare provider if needed.
What are natural remedies for period cramps?

Several drug-free remedies can help ease period cramps:
TENS Machines (such as our Period Pain Relievers): A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machine offers drug-free relief by using electrical pulses to block pain signals and relax muscles.
Heat Therapy (such as our Thermal Comforter): Applying a heating pad to your abdomen or back can reduce muscle tension and alleviate cramps.
Exercise: Light exercise or yoga increases blood flow and releases endorphins, which help reduce pain.
Diet & Hydration: Eating anti-inflammatory foods and staying hydrated can help lessen cramping, while avoiding caffeine may provide relief.
For persistent pain, consult a healthcare provider for further guidance.
What is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the womb, often on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other pelvic organs. This tissue responds to the menstrual cycle by thickening and shedding, but unlike normal menstrual blood, it has no way to leave the body, leading to inflammation, pain, and scar tissue.
What are common symptoms of endometriosis?

Symptoms of endometriosis include severe period cramps, pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, pain during intercourse, and infertility. Some individuals may also experience fatigue, digestive issues, or pain during bowel movements and urination—especially during menstruation.
Why am I experiencing period pain but no periods?

Experiencing period pain without a period can be caused by several underlying factors. Common causes include ovulation pain (mittelschmerz), endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pregnancy, menopause or perimenopause.
What is PCOS?

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal condition that affects how the ovaries function. It can cause irregular periods, excess male hormones (androgens), and enlarged ovaries with multiple cysts.
