We’re not just passionate about empowering everyone’s health at home but also our home’s health – planet Earth, which is why this year we’ve signed up to Treefo.
Treefo is a new service provided by Feefo, a leading customer review and feedback management platform, where customer reviews help fund tree planting projects to decrease the devasting effects of deforestation.
Deforestation has many impacts on the environment, including global warming and negatively affecting ecosystems – just to name a few. Treefo has currently funded the plantation of 14,050 new trees in locations such as Madagascar where the ecosystem is particularly precious considering 90% of its wildlife can’t be found anywhere else on Earth.
To make this happen Feefo has partnered with Ecologi, the environmental organisation, to source the tree-planting projects. Ecologi work with Eden Reforestation Projects, a non-profit organisation, whose mission is “to provide fair-wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration”. They achieve this by hiring local people to plant, grow and look after the trees, this creates a positive socioeconomical impact as well as an environmental one.
We’re excited to be a part of the Treefo community and can’t wait to help plant even more trees (with the very special help of our customers, of course) to help reduce the devastating effects of deforestation and help make our planet healthier.
