Why take this test?
During the winter months, there is generally not enough sunlight to maintain healthy Vitamin D levels unless you spend a lot of time outdoors. You’re more likely to have a Vitamin D deficiency if you’re housebound, dark-skinned, pregnant or breastfeeding, overweight or spend too little time outdoors.
